You Are A King And You Are Clueless About It

Here comes the weekend, time to go out for a drink, or maybe eat out with the family, or do some shopping, and definitely post pictures of neatly arranged food on Instagram!

Here comes the week, let’s work, and work, so we can keep up with our lifestyle.

I don’t know if you noticed, but I tried to portray the simplicity of western life, given that you have an amazing life such as the one I just described, and not one full of terror and hunger as many comrades in the world unfortunately have. I wanted to portray the boringness of a “normal” western life.

Life cannot be about creating content for Instagram and making as much money as we can, purely, won’t you agree? Doesn’t that sound boring? We need some adventure, don’t we?

It feels as if we are living prepackaged lives. And don’t get me wrong, it is amazing to live such lives of comfort and luxuries. But people need more.

And what is that more?

I would say it has something to do with the magic of adventure. With the feeling of venturing towards the unknown, and finding some magic in a world that has gone blank and tasteless.

The call for adventure.

But we think of adventure as something weird, something similar to what we see in the movies, something that needs you to have superpowers or a job in the secret service. We don’t see normal life as an adventure. What’s adventurous about it anyway?

Oh but it is.

We believe we cannot live adventures because we have so many things on our table. Maybe you have kids, or you need to take care of your parents, or you have to work to pay the unbelievably high rent of your apartment, and you feel trapped in modern life, you feel trapped by Uber and delivery food.
