Using Perception To Heal Your Body Faster
“Everyone knows we need to have mud for lotuses to grow. The mud doesn’t smell so good, but the lotus flower smells very good. If you don’t have mud, the lotus won’t manifest. You can’t grow lotus flowers on marble. Without mud, there can be no lotus.”

I want to run a 100 mile race. I just ran a 50K race, about two months ago, it kicked my ass. But it was useful, now I know (kind of) what I need to do to run the 100 mile race. I basically have to run, a lot, about 80K a week or more, while lifting weights and taking care of my nutrition.
I have to work as well, running doesn’t pay the bills, it just gives context and understanding to my life, something I honestly value highly. But, I still have to work to pay my bills.
Sometimes, when I sit down to work in the mornings, after having run a 21k, mid-week run, I am angry. Because frankly, I don’t feel like working, I’m tired and my muscles cry in pain when I stand up to go to the restroom. But today, while in my agony, I began thinking differently. I told myself, ‘well, truth is, my muscles are getting bigger right this moment’, and the hurt ceased causing me suffering. I began thinking that I needed this pain to be better.
I correlated that thought with everything.
