Running Into Crazies, A Story About A Run

I went for my last good run in Chihuahua last Sunday. It was supposed to be a 25k to 35k run, but it just didn’t happen, I felt too weak. I realized later it was due to Covid. But anyway, I did manage to run around 12k, and the run was fun for two things. First, I was there on my own, nobody got up early on a Sunday to run with me. I was kind of sad about it at first, but the sadness eventually melts away when you realize the creative potential of your run.
You can do whatever you want to do when you are alone. This goes as well for whenever you’re alone in life, you just need to be creative. And second, I ran into an old man on a horse with a gun, who told me the craziest stories.
So
I woke up like any other day at 6:00 AM for the run. I followed my morning rituals of meditating, stretching, making my bed, and preparing coffee and breakfast. We were supposed to be meeting at 8:00 AM, so I had plenty of time. I arrived a bit earlier, I still had coffee in my mug, so I wasn’t in a hurry to start. I waited for the others as I listened to an audiobook. I drank my coffee and listened. Those are peaceful moments.
